A 12th round pick by New Orleans in the 1981 NFL Draft (305th overall), Wilks would go on to play 13 seasons in the Black and Gold, appearing in 183 games with 154 starts. He ranks fifth on the club’s all-time games played list. Over his Saints career, he recorded 45.5 sacks, 545 tackles, eight forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries and five blocked kicks. Appeared in all 16 games in eight of his 13 seasons.
