Selected by New Orleans 29th overall in the second round of the 1973 NFL Draft, Moore played in 13 seasons for the Black and Gold, making 146 starts. His 170 total games played are the eighth-most in franchise history. In 1980, he led the team in sacks while he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1983. A member of the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame, Moore was also part of the Saints 40th Anniversary team.
