After spending three seasons in the USFL, the USFL’s all-time leader in passing yardage, Hebert spent eight seasons with New Orleans from 1985-92, making 75 starts (78 games played) over that time. He threw for 14,630 yards and 85 touchdowns on 1,202-of-2,055 passing. In 1987, his first full year as a starter, he led the team to its first playoff berth.
